On January 13, 2008 Join HopeTeam . . .Being part of the HopeTeam gives you a wonderful chance to do something that has an impact on children in our area with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, to be part of a wonderful group of people on the HopeTeam, to get some outstanding training to help get in better health, and to be able to forever say, "I am a marathoner!" or "I am a half-marathoner!"
Being part of the HopeTeam gets your race registration paid, full training to run or walk, or run/walk in the full marathon or in the half marathon, a great official HopeTeam racing shirt, dinner the night before the race, and a celebration party! Plus lots of other fun stuff.
Your part would be to talk to your friends, family members, neighbors, co-workers, and raise a minimum of $1,000 for HopeKids. We can provide samples of letters, etc. to help you with this process. This can be done with 20 people giving $50 dollars, 10 people giving $100 dollars, just a couple making larger gifts - or any combination.
